OMAHA, Neb. – Xavier volleyball dropped a three-set match (14-25, 19-25, 15-25) at No. 17 Creighton on Sunday afternoon.

The Musketeers moved to 7-16 (2-7 BIG EAST) on the year, while the Bluejays improved to 14-5 (7-1 BIG EAST).

NOTABLES

• Junior Meredith Klare posted a team-high 11 digs. The libero moved into sixth place all-time at Xavier in digs as she now has 1,347.

• Junior Morgan Finn paced the Musketeers with seven kills, while classmate Laura Grossman added six. Freshman Maya Krause chipped in five kills.

• Both teams had three blocks in the match. Alexis Newsome paced Xavier with two blocks to go along with four kills and a .286 hitting percentage.

• Freshman Nadia Dieudonne posted a team-high 14 assists to go along with four digs. Junior McKena Estes added 12 assists and five digs.

• Senior Samantha Foti recorded seven digs and two kills.
