Xavier Announces Addition of "Tech Deck" For 2017-18 Season

Hospitality area features in-arena live virtual reality game experience as well as 9’x16’ television, and a walkout balcony
CINCINNATI - Xavier Athletics announced the creation of a new group hospitality area for the 2017-18 men's basketball season. The new "Tech Deck" is located on the Fourth Floor of Cintas Center on the conference level, overlooking the arena.
The Tech Deck will feature what's believed to be the first in-arena live virtual reality game experience of its kind. Three virtual reality stations will give fans the chance to watch the game in a 360-degree immersive environment, as if they were standing at midcourt.
The room also features a large television screen measuring 9'x16', and a walkout balcony to get a bird's eye view of the action. Food and beverage service is available, and restrooms are also located right outside the space.
"It's essentially a courtside experience with different premium amenities," said Athletic Director Greg Christopher. "We're excited to offer this new space as part of the Cintas Center updates."
The Tech Deck will be rented on a single-game basis, and is already sold for 13 of 19 home games this season. Rental starts at $1,100 per game plus food and beverage for groups up to 40 people.
In addition to the Tech Deck, group areas on the new Lookout seating above the student section are also available on a single-game basis. For more information on group hospitality, or to book your outing, call the Xavier Athletics Ticket Office at (513) 745-3411 x7.
