Women's Tennis Falls to Princeton

CINCINNATI – After coming off an exciting victory against Miami, Xavier women's tennis fell to Princeton University with a 5-2 decision. The Musketeers fall 3-6 overall on the spring season.
Senior Sydney Liggins and Cristina Di Lorenzo led Xavier in singles, winning in the No. 1 and No. 2 spots. Liggins defeated Katrine Steffensen with a 4-1, def victory in No. 1. In No. 2, Di Lorenzo defeated Sivan Krems 7-5,6-4.
In doubles, Di Lorenzo and partner Lauren Ghidotti defeated Nicole Kalhorn and Katrine Steffensen with a 6-0 victory. This is Di Lorenzo and Ghidotti's fifth straight victory in No. 1 doubles so far, this season. Some of their victories have come over Northern Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky, and Miami.
Xavier women's tennis closes out the three-game home stretch Friday, March 3 against Bowling Green.
