Women’s Basketball Plays Host to No. 18/16 DePaul on Friday Night

CINCINNATI - Xavier women's basketball returns to action on Friday, Feb. 10 against No. 18/16 DePaul. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. from Cintas Center.
The Musketeers (11-12, 3-9 BIG EAST) are coming off a 10-point win at Butler last weekend, snapping a seven-game losing streak. The Blue Demons (20-5, 12-1 BIG EAST) have won four straight games and bring a 7-2 road record into Friday's contest.
Xavier has partnered with the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Greater Cincinnati (OCAGC) for a third consecutive year to spread awareness and participate in the initiative to fight ovarian cancer. Friday's game will serve as the marquee event of the 6th Annual Teal Power Shootout, a series of local basketball programs participating in the initiative. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a Teal Power Shootout rally towel.
