Men's Basketball Closes Out Regular Season At DePaul On Saturday

Musketeers looking to snap losing streak.
CINCINNATI --- Xavier, 18-12 overall and 8-9 in the BIG EAST Conference, closes out the regular season on Saturday afternoon at DePaul. Xavier needs a win Saturday to finish 9-9 in the BIG EAST Conference and extend the nation's best active streak of 34 straight seasons at .500 or better in conference play. The game will be broadcast on FSN, including FOX Sports Ohio, and 55KRC-AM.

• Xavier freshman Quentin Goodin is third in the BIG EAST in assists for league games at 3.9 apg. and is second in assist/turnover ratio for league games at 2.3.
• Xavier senior RaShid Gaston ranks third in the BIG EAST in field goal percentage at 59.0 percent (third for BIG EAST games only at 63.7 percent) and tied for second in the BIG EAST in rebounding at 6.6 rpg.
• Xavier sophomore Kaiser Gates has averaged 6.3 rpg. over the last 10 games, including a career-high 10 rebounds vs. DePaul on Feb. 8.
