Women's Tennis to Host Memphis Friday At Eastern Hills Indoor

Musketeers looking to bounce back from Wednesday loss.
CINCINNATI – After a close 4-3 loss to crosstown rival, Cincinnati, Xavier women's tennis continues the three-game home stretch as they host the Memphis Tigers on Friday, April 7. The match will start at 2 p.m. at Eastern Hills Indoor.
Senior Sydney Liggins and doubles partner Rachael Reichenbach look to continue their success in hope of gaining six-straight wins in doubles matches. The duo has claimed victories over Marquette, Providence, Seton Hall, DePaul and Cincinnati.
Memphis came off a tough 4-1 loss against University of North Texas. However, the Tigers have found success this season against Jackson State University, University of Huston, Southern Illinois University and a 7-0 shutout against Missouri State University. The Tigers are 9-6 overall this season.
Senior Cristina Di Lorenzo and junior doubles partner Lauren Ghidotti also look to continue their success in doubles. The doubles partners have won four straight and look to claim a fifth victory tomorrow afternoon.
