Match with Bobcats ends four-game homestand
CINCINNATI – Xavier women's soccer closes out a four-game home-stand on Sunday afternoon, hosting the Ohio Bobcats for a 1:00 p.m. match at the XU Soccer Complex.

- The Bobcats enter the game at 3-1, coming off a 1-0 win over Cleveland State on Sunday, Aug. 27.
- Against the Vikings, Alivia Milesky scored the game-winner on a header in the 72nd minute.
- OU also earned results in a 2-0 win over Robert Morris and a 1-0 win over Butler. The Bobcats fell to High Point, 1-0, on the road.
- Milesky is one of four Bobcats who has scored this year, with Bryce Hueber, Allie Curry and Hannah Jaggers all collecting a tally to match for team-high.
- Milesky also has a team-high pair of assists to lead Ohio with four points.
- Erin Beurket has started all four games in goal, allowing a single goal and collecting seven saves in 180 minutes of action to set her record at 1-1.
- Sydney Malham has played all four of Ohio's matches in a relief position in-goal, collecting six saves with no goals against in 180 minutes, setting her record at 2-0.
- Ohio finished 2016 with a record of 5-12-1, including going 3-8-0 in MAC play.
- Last season, the Musketeers took the 2-1 win over the Bobcats in Athens. Samantha Dewey scored in the 28th minute to give XU a 1-0 lead going into the half. Ohio scored an equalizer shortly after the break but Tori Doss scored the game-winner in the 76th minute for the win.
- With last season's win, Xavier leads the all-time series with the Bobcats 6-2-0.

- On Friday evening, the Musketeers and Colonels played to a scoreless draw through 86 minutes before EKU broke through for the only tally of the match, a 1-0 setback for Xavier.
- After Toni Bizzarro collected an EKU shot on a diving save on the right side of the net in the 86th minute, the ball ricocheted to EKU's Emmi Carroll on the right side of the penalty box. Carroll crossed to Jordan Foster on the left side of the six-yard box and Foster finished the clean look at the goal for the game-winner.
- Xavier owned a 5-3 advantage on shots in the first half, but EKU reversed that in the second, out-shooting the Musketeers 5-3. Both teams finished with eight shots.
- All eight of EKU's shots were on-frame, the Musketeers had three looks on-goal for the evening.
- Xavier forced a pair of corner kicks, both in the first half, to just one for EKU.
- Carrie Lewis led the Musketeers with three shots. Samantha Dewey also had a pair of looks. Tori Doss, Carly Alfano and Emma Westwater each recorded a shot.
- Toni Bizzarro collected seven saves on the evening with one goal against, playing the full 90 minutes for the Musketeers.Carly Alfano and Addie Englehart played the full 90 minutes on the Xavier back line.
- The loss to EKU marked the first time in 2017 the Musketeers have been shut-out.
- Xavier moved to 2-1-1 at home this season.
