• Xavier, 17-3 overall and 5-2 in the BIG EAST Conference, has won two straight, 92-70 over then-No. 25 Creighton on Jan. 13 and 88-82 over St. John's on Jan. 17.
• Xavier is No. 11 in the Associated Press Poll and No. 12 in the USA Today Coaches Poll, XU's seventh straight week in the top 15 of both major polls.
• Xavier is No. 5 in the latest NCAA Official RPI (1-18-18), one of three BIG EAST schools in the top 15, six in the top 40 and eight in the top 70.
• Xavier head coach Chris Mack is now 203-94 in his ninth year at the helm, taking over as Xavier's all-time wins leader from Pete Gillen (202 wins from 1985-94).
