• Xavier, 19-3 overall and 7-2 in the BIG EAST Conference, won its fourth straight game with an 89-70 victory over Marquette on Jan. 24 at Cintas Center.
• Xavier, 19-3, is one win shy of recording its 12th 20-win season in the last 13 years and its 20th 20-win season in the last 22 years.
• Xavier is No. 6 in the AP Poll and the USA Today Coaches Poll, XU's ninth straight week in the top 15 of both major polls, including seventh in nine weeks in the top 10.
• Xavier is No. 3 in the latest NCAA Official RPI (1-29-18), one of four BIG EAST schools in the top 30 and one of seven BIG EAST schools in the top 50.
• Xavier's J.P. Macura, who is second on the team in scoring at 13.0 ppg. (21st in the BIG EAST), is 24th on XU's all-time scoring list with 1,328 points.
• Xavier senior Trevon Bluiett, who is seventh in the BIG EAST in scoring at 18.9 ppg., scored 13 points vs. Marquette on Jan. 24, giving him exactly 2,000 career points for his career. He is the fifth 2,000-point scorer in Xavier history.
• Xavier's Trevon Bluiett is getting plenty of midseason national honors: Oscar Robertson Trophy Midseason Watch List, Wooden Award Midseason Top 25 and Midseason Second Team All-American (NBC and Sporting News).
• Xavier sophomore Quentin Goodin is second in the BIG EAST Conference in assists at 5.3 apg. and third in assist-to-turnover ratio at 2.34.
• Xavier ninth-year head coach Chris Mack is XU's all-time wins leader at 205-94.
• Xavier, a 2017 NCAA Elite Eight team, has made it to at least the Sweet 16 six times in the last 10 years, one of only nine schools that can say that. XU is one of only eight schools have been to at least 11 of the last 12 NCAA tournaments.
