Men's Soccer Battles Back From Late Deficit, Extends Home Unbeaten Streak to 13 Straight in 3-3 Draw Against Santa Clara

CINCINNATI – Felix Boe-Tangen provided the equalizer in the 84th minute as Xavier men's soccer rallied from a late deficit to force overtime and an eventual 3-3 draw on Tuesday night against Santa Clara at XU Soccer Complex.
The result, which saw goals come from Simen Hestnes, Samson Sergi and Boe-Tangen, moved Xavier's home unbeaten streak to 13 straight matches as its season ledger went to 3-2-5 overall.
Santa Clara moved to 4-5-1 on the season and is unbeaten in its last four outings.

17' | Xavier 1-0 | Simen Hestnes took control of a turnover in the final third, made a move to beat the keeper and then finished far post past an outstretched Santa Clara defender for his fifth tally of the season.
