The senior outside hitter had 12 kills and 15 digs on Friday night

CINCINNATI - Senior Laura Grossman posted a team-high 12 kills to go along with 15 digs on Friday night, leading the Musketeers to a four-set win (25-21, 22-25, 25-20, 25-20) over Seton Hall on Friday night at Cintas Center. The Musketeers (8-15, 6-6 BIG EAST) swept the season series against the Pirates (8-17, 3-8 BIG EAST).

NOTABLES

• Senior Laura Grossman posted her sixth double-double of the season in the win. The outside hitter added three aces and two blocks.

• Freshman Norah Painter added 11 kills, while sophomore Audrey Adams posted nine. Sophomore Moriah Hopkins and senior Morgan Finn both chipped in seven kills.

• Senior McKena Estes posted a team-high 24 assists to go along with five digs. Sophomore Nadia Dieudonne added 17 assists, six digs and one ace.

• Senior Meredith Klare recorded a match-high 18 digs to go along with five assists. Freshman Ryan Shannon collected 12 digs and two aces.

• Xavier had seven more total team blocks (14-7) than Seton Hall and had seven more aces (8-1). The Musketeers have posted 10 or more total team blocks in seven straight matches.

• Xavier returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 27 against St. John's in the team's Dig Pink Match. First serve is slated for 6 p.m. from Cintas Center.
