STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Xavier wrapped up action at the BIG EAST Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday evening. The two-day meet was held at the Ocean Breeze Track and Field Athletic Complex in Staten Island, N.Y.

"Today was a little better then yesterday. The athletes that competed were more loose and relaxed."

"Grayson Jenkins pulled off a monster triple. He set a two second PR to make the mile final, he ran a PR in the 3,000 today and 20 minutes later he competed really hard in the mile final."

"Finally, after not high jumping since outdoor track, Polk had a great day, placing 4th in the high jump. The key for him was to just have fun with it and jump loose."
