SAN FRANCISCO - Xavier baseball fell in a 1-0 pitcher's duel at San Francisco as the only run of the game scored on a ground out on Saturday at Benedetti Diamond.
The Musketeeers (4-12) put a runner on third in three separate innings, but could not push across a run in a frustrating loss as the team was held scoreless for just the second time this season.
XU is now finished with an eight-game west coast road trip and will return to Ohio on Tuesday, beginning a run of five straight games in their home state.
