Xavier Wins Third Consecutive Match After Serving DePaul

CINCINNATI- Xavier men's tennis extended the win streak to three after defeating BIG EAST rival DePaul, 4-3, in Chicago on Friday evening.

The Musketeers won two doubles matches and three singles matches. At No. 1 doubles, Gabriel Araujo and Jack Dykema defeated Alex Galoustian and Boris Spanjaard 7-6(5). At No. 3 doubles, Brett Winters and Michael Lee defeated Tripp Tuff and Conor O'Meara, 6-2.

At No. 3 singles, Araujo picked up a win in three sets over Tamas Zador 2-6, 7-6(8), 6-3. Matthew Graft won his No. 4 singles match over Christopher Casati 6-2, 5-7, 7-6(3). At No. 5 singles, Connor LaFavre won over Tripp Tuff 3-6, 6-4, 6-1.

The Musketeers will travel to Milwaukee, Wis. on Saturday, April 7 to face BIG EAST competitor Creighton.
