Xavier Falls to East Carolina

ORLANDO, Fla. - Xavier men's tennis fell to East Carolina, 5-2, on Wednesday.

The Musketeers were exceptional in doubles play, securing two wins. Gabriel Araujo and Jack Dykema won at No. 1 doubles, 6-4, over Freddie Mcgeehan and Vlad Anghel. At No. 2 doubles, Matthew Graft and Connor LaFavre won, 6-4, over Eastern Carolina's Ronny Georgi and Kasey Countee duo.

Xavier struggled at singles play, where the only Musketeer to secure a win was Araujo, 6-3, 7-6(2), at No. 5 singles.

The Musketeer fall to 2-9 on the season, and will play Radford at 10:00 a.m. in Orlando, Fla., on Thursday.
