Men's and Women's Swimming Named CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams

Marks 10th year the program has earned the honor
NORFOLK, Va. – Xavier men's and women's swimming continued to set a high standard in the classroom, earning the distinction of College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team for both the men and the women for the ninth-straight year. To earn the honor, teams must have achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the Spring 2018 Semester.
CSCAA named 710 teams to its Scholar All-America list for the Spring 2018 Semester. The teams represent 476 institutions from across all NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA Divisions.
Xavier was one of 97 NCAA DI schools to have both its men's and women's team honored. Xavier's men posted a 3.19 GPA for the Spring 2018 Semester, making the Musketeers one of 98 DI teams which earned the honor on the men's side. The Xavier women finished the semester with a 3.49 GPA, making the team one of 174 DI programs to earn the honor.
This is 10th year overall the men's and women's program earned the honor of CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, including the Fall 2017 semester and the eight previous years. Additionally, Xavier earned the honor during the 2005-06 academic year.
