Sophomore Audrey Adams paced Xavier with eight kills and a .500 hitting percentage

CINCINNATI - Xavier volleyball dropped a three set match (13-25, 13-25, 20-25) to No. 10 Creighton on Saturday night at Cintas Center. The Musketeers moved to 4-11 (2-2 BIG EAST), while the Bluejays improved to 12-4 (4-0 BIG EAST).

NOTABLES

• Sophomore Audrey Adams led the Musketeers with eight kills and a .500 hitting percentage. The middle blocker finished the weekend with a team-high 19 kills and .692 hitting percentage.

• Freshman Kelly Franxman added six kills and five digs. Senior Morgan Finn chipped in five kills, while freshman Norah Painter and sophomore Moriah Hopkins added four.

• Sophomore Nadia Dieudonne posted a team-high 15 assists to go along six digs. Senior setter McKena Estes added 13 assists and five digs.

• Senior Meredith Klare had a team-high 15 digs, finishing the weekend averaging 5.17 digs per set. The libero now has 1,690 career digs, 38 digs shy of moving into second place all-time at Xavier in career digs.

• Creighton had 11 more total team blocks (12-1) than Xavier and had three more aces (6-3).
