Matthew Rosenberg Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

The goalkeeper posted his fourth shutout of the season vs Creighton on Friday night
NEW YORK - Redshirt-junior Matthew Rosenberg was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday afternoon. The goalkeeper helped the Musketeers post a 1-0 win over Creighton on Friday, Oct. 11.
Rosenberg made four saves against Creighton on Friday night. He also posted his fourth shutout of the season in the win.
The Manalapan, N.J., native earns BIG EAST honors for the third time this season. He was named to the weekly honor roll on Sept. 9 and was named the goalkeeper of the week on Sept. 2.
Xavier returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 19 at No. 12 Georgetown. First touch is set for 1 p.m.
