CINCINNATI --- The No. 18/21 Xavier Musketeers, 4-0, begin play in the Charleston Classic on Thursday night vs. the Towson Tigers, 2-2. The Musketeers are looking to match the 5-0 start of the 2017-18 team. The game will be broadcast on ESPNU and 700 WLW.

• Xavier junior Paul Scruggs is on the BIG EAST Honor Roll this week after averaging 13.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals in Xavier wins over Missouri and Missouri State. He scored all 12 of his points vs. Missouri in the final 13:07.
• Xavier junior Jason Carter recorded the first double-double of his Xavier career with 12 points and a game-high 11 rebounds vs. Mizzou on Nov. 12.
