Musketeers are opening a three-game homestand at Cintas Center.
CINCINNATI --- No. 25/23 Xavier, 6-1, opens a three-game homestand at noon on Saturday vs. Lipscomb, 3-4 and winners of two straight road games. Xavier is looking for its ninth straight win at Cintas Center, which is celebrating its 20th season as the home of Xavier basketball.

• Xavier junior Paul Scruggs earned a spot on the BIG EAST Honor Roll for the second straight week after averaging 18.0 ppg., 4.0 rpg., 2.7 apg. and 1.7 spg. for XU's three games in the Charleston Classic, also earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team. He leads the team in scoring at 15.3 ppg. (10th in the BIG EAST).
• Xavier junior Naji Marshall, preseason First Team All-BIG EAST, leads the team in assists (10th in BIG EAST at 3.7 apg.) and is second in scoring (13th in BIG EAST at 14.6 ppg.) and rebounding (10th in BIG EAST at 6.3 rpg.).
• Xavier senior Quentin Goodin now has 471 career assists, passing Gary Lumpkin for seventh place on XU's all-time assist list. Dedrick Finn (481) is sixth.
• Xavier senior Tyrique Jones earned his spot on the Charleston Classic All-Tournament team after averaging 14.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals for Xavier's three games. Jones has averaged 14.3 points and a team-high 8.7 rebounds per game (fifth in the BIG EAST).
