CINCINNATI --- The Xavier University Musketeers, 8-1, and University of Cincinnati Bearcats, 6-2, meet on Saturday at 5 p.m. at Cintas Center in the annual Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout. XU and UC are meeting for the 87th time on the basketball court.

• Xavier and Cincinnati are meeting for the 87th time. XU has won four of the last six games and eight of the last 12.
• Xavier is 7-1 vs. UC at Cintas Center, including seven straight wins.
• Xavier junior Naji Marshall leads XU in scoring (10th in the BIG EAST at 15.4 ppg. after his 24-point game on Wednesday) and assists (ninth in the BIG EAST at 3.8 apg.). He is second in rebounding (12th in the BIG EAST at 5.8 rpg.).
• Xavier junior Paul Scruggs is second on the team in scoring at 15.1 ppg. (11th in the BIG EAST). Scruggs, who has been named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll twice this season, has scored in double figures in every game he has played this season.
• Xavier senior Quentin Goodin now has 476 career assists and is just five assists behind sixth-place Dedrick Finn (481 from 2002-06). Goodin has averaged 9.7 ppg. and 6.3 apg. in three previous games vs. Cincinnati.
• Xavier senior Tyrique Jones, who had 14 points and 14 rebounds vs. Green Bay, has recorded a double-double in four of the last five games. Jones leads XU at 9.4 rebounds per game (fourth in the BIG EAST).
• Xavier junior Jason Carter, the only non-returnee in the starting lineup, has started each of the last eight games.
• Xavier freshman Zach Freemantle, who blocked five shots in the win over UConn in Charleston, tied for team-high scoring honors with 15 points vs. Lipscomb on 4-5 shooting from the field and 7-7 free-throw shooting to go with five rebounds.
