Musketeers host Richmond on Saturday afternoon

CINCINNATI - Xavier men's tennis fell, 5-2, to Bryant on Friday evening at Eastern Hills Indoor Tennis Facility. The Musketeers host Richmond tomorrow at Eastern Hills at 4:30 p.m.

THE MATCH

In doubles, Jan Vrba and Michael lee picked up a 6-0 win in the No. 3 spot, the only doubles win for the Musketeers. Jack Dykema and Brett Winters fell 6-3 in the No. 1 spot, and Connor LaFavre and Matthew Graft fell, 6-3, in the No. 2 spot to give Bryant the doubles point.

Vrba and Lee went undefeated on the day, both picking up singles points. Vrba came from behind to take the No. 5 spot, 3-6, 6-2, 6-3. Michael Lee claimed the No. 6 spot in two sets, 6-0, 7-5.

In the No. 1 spot, Brett Winters fell, 6-3, 6-2. Jack Dykema fell in the No. 2 spot, 7-5, 6-2. Connor LaFavre fell in the No. 4 spot, 6-3, 6-2.

After taking the first set, Matthew Graft went into tiebreakers in the third set in the No. 3 spot, falling 4-6, 6-2, 10-4.
