Warkentin, Givin and Franzoni each collect three RBIs
Xavier scored a pair in the first inning and added four more in the third. Those six early runs would be all Xavier would need, but a seven-run sixth inning, capped by a three run homer for Luke Franzoni, broke the game open, 13-0. Miami scored four runs in the eighth, but were unable to close the gap further, setting the final score at 13-4 in favor of the Musketeers.
Xavier returns to the road for BIG EAST action on Friday, traveling to Omaha, Neb. to face Creighton in a three-game series. Game one with the Bluejays is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday, April 26.

- Jake Shepski went 3-of-4 at the plate, scoring a pair of runs and collecting an RBI.
- Matt Warkentin also collected three hit (3-of-5) and was one of three Musketeers to collect three RBI.
- Chris Givin (2-of-4) and Luke Franzoni (2-of-5) each collected three RBIs as well.
- Franzoni's RBIs came on a three-run homer, his seventh of the season, giving him a team-high
- Allbry Major hit a pair of doubles on the day, finishing 2-of-4, scoring two runs and collecting an RBI.
- Conor Grammes went 2-of-5 at the plate, scoring two runs.
- Jack Housinger and Kody Darcy each collected a hit and a walk, and Natale Monastra went 1-of-3 at the plate, with an RBI. Housinger, Darcy and Monastra each scored a run as well.
- All nine Musketeers starters collected a hit and scored a run, as Xavier finished the day with 18 hits, the most since the 24-hit day against Grand Canyon on March 16.

- Nick Zwack pitched 3.0 innings in the start, facing the minimus with two strikeouts and no hits allowed.
- Sam Czabala pitched 2.0 innings, allowing no runs on five hits.
- Trey Schram pitched the sixth, sitting down all three RedHawks in just four pitches.
- Lane Flamm pitched the seventh, striking out one and allowing no runs to score with one hit allowed.Â
- Matt Kent pitched the eighth, finishing with four earned runs on three hits.
- Marko Boricich pitched the ninth, striking out two of the three batters he faced in a scoreless inning.

FIRST INNING | Â With Conor Grammes led of with a double to right center, and came home on a Jake Shepski single to right field to put Xavier ahead, 1-0. With two outs, Shepski went to second on the a wild pitch and then scored on a Chris Givin single to put Xavier ahead, 2-0.
THIRD INNING | Jake Shepski led the inning off with a single, and then three straight doubles, for Allbry Major, Matt Warkentin and Chris Givin, brought three runs in to put Xavier ahead, 5-0. Jack Housinger sent Givin to third with a bunt single and Givin came homeon a sac bunt by Natale Monastra to make it 6-0.
SIXTH INNING | Jack Natale Monastra led off the inning with a single to center field, and Kody Darcy brought him home with a double to left center, putting Xavier ahead, 7-0. A Conor Grammes single to right field put runners on the corners and Allbry Major's second double of the day brought in Darcy, making it 8-0. Matt Warkentin reached on a fielders choice, sending Grammes home to make it 9-0 and Major scored on a Chris Givin fly ball to left field. Jack Housinger walked to put runners on first and second and Luke Franzoni homered to left field to put Xavier ahead, 13-0.
