CINCINNATI – Xavier Baseball is excited to announce that the 2019 regular-season finale against the University of Cincinnati, set for Saturday, May 18, will be played at Great American Ball Park immediately following the Cincinnati Reds game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

"This is incredible opportunity for our student-athletes to play in a major league stadium, and we are in extremely grateful for the opportunity, said Billy O'Conner, Xavier head baseball coach. "Each of our players strives to one day play Major League Baseball, and this experience will give them a taste of what that will hopefully one day be like."
The game at Great American Ball Park concludes a three-game series with the Bearcats, beginning on Thursday, May 16 at Cincinnati's Marge Schott Stadium and continuing Friday, May 17 at Prasco Park in Mason, Ohio.
Cincinnati leads the all-time series with the Musketeers, 67-43, including a 2-1 win earlier this season in the Joe Nuxhall Classic.
"Playing at Great American Ballpark is a great opportunity for our players and a fun way to close out our regular season," said Scott Googins, UC head baseball coach. "We are excited to showcase the UC-Xavier rivalry on a big stage."
