Women's Tennis Travels to Indiana for Hoosier Classic

CINCINNATI - Xavier women's tennis returns to action this weekend as they continue their fall invitational schedule. The Musketeers will travel to Indiana University to compete in the Hoosier Classic hosted by the Indiana women's tennis team at the IU Varsity tennis courts.

Xavier will join nine other schools at the tournament. Schools competing this year are Western Michigan, Wright State, Louisville, Cincinnati, Marquette, Miami (OH), Bowling Green, Middle Tennessee and Indiana.

Xavier has had recent success against multiple teams competing this weekend. The Musketeers defeated Cincinnati, Indiana and Middle Tennessee last regular season.

Play will begin Friday, September 27th with one round of singles at 10 a.m. and two rounds of doubles beginning at 2:30 p.m. The schedule will remain the same on Saturday, with one round of singles and two rounds of doubles at the same times. The tournament will conclude with one round of singles play at 10 a.m. on Sunday, September 29th.
