Men's Tennis Travels to Louisville

CINCINNATI – Xavier men's tennis returns to action on Tuesday, March 3rd as they take on Louisville. The Musketeers will look to snap their four-match losing streak on the road before returning home to take on Fordham on Friday. The match is set to begin at 5 p.m. in Lousivlle, Ky.

- Louisville finished last season with a 16-13 overall record and went 10-6 in home matches.
- The Cardinals defeated Xavier last season, 5-2, on Feb. 21.
- Louisville fell to North Carolina in the second round of the ACC Championships, 0-4.
- The Cardinals have started this season 7-4 overall and are 6-2 in home matches. Their most recent loss came at the hands of Notre Dam, losing the match 0-4 in South Bend, Ind.
- Louisville will take on Kennesaw State at 1 p.m. before their matchup with the Musketeers at 5 p.m.

- Xavier men's tennis to Marquette, 6-1, on Saturday in their third BIG EAST Conference matchup of the season.
- Marquette took the doubles point after defeating Srdan Pejic and Shashank Reddy in the No. 2 spot, 6-1, followed by Michael Lee and Aaron Thompson, 7-6, in the No. 3 spot. Brett Winters and Matthew Graft remained unfinished in the No. 1 doubles spot.
- In singles, Michael Lee grabbed Xavier's only victory of the match, defeating Will Tennison, 6-4, 6-2. Winters fell in the No. 1 spot, 6-1, 6-4, and Pejic fell in the No. 2 spot, 6-4, 7-5. Marquette grabbed the No. 3 spot over Graft, 6-3, 6-2, as well as the No. 4 spot over Reddy, 6-1, 7-6. Aaron Thompson also fell in the No. 5 spot, 6-0, 6-2.
