Men's Tennis Hosts Fordham

CINCINNATI – Xavier men's tennis returns to action on Friday, March 6th as they take on Fordham. The Musketeers will look to snap their five-match losing streak at Eastern Hills Indoor Tennis Club in a match set to begin at 1 p.m. The match can be watched at GoXavier.com/MTENLiveStreams.

- Fordham finished last season with a 17-6 overall record. The Rams went 4-4 in road matches and fell in the second round of the Atlantic 10 Championships
- Fordham has started the 2019-20 season with a 5-2 overall record. The Rams are 5-1 in road matches so far this season and have lost their only home match of the season. Their two losses came against Brown and Davidson.
- Historically, Xavier is 1-0 against Fordham, defeating the Rams 7-0 in 2013.

- Xavier men's tennis to Louisville, 4-0, on Tuesday evening in a tough road matchup.
- Louisville took the doubles point after defeating Srdan Pejic and Shashank Reddy in the No. 2 spot, 6-0, followed by Brett Winters and Matthew Graft in the No. 1 spot, 6-4. Aaron Thompson and Michael Lee trailed in the No. 3 spot, 3-4, when the doubles point had been decided.
- In singles, Winters fell in the No. 1 spot to Louisville's Sergio Hernandez, 6-1, 6-2. Louisville grabbed their third point after defeating Graft in the No. 3 spot, 6-2, 6-1, and secured the victory with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Reddy in the No. 4 spot. Thompson trailed in the No. 5 spot, 6-2, 5-3, when the point was decided, and Michael Lee also trailed in the No. 6 spot. .
