Musketeers are shooting for a second straight BIG EAST win.

CINCINNATI --- The Xavier University Musketeers, 9-2 overall and 2-2 in the BIG EAST Conference, host the Providence College Friars, 7-4 overall and 3-2 in the BIG EAST, on Sunday at 11 a.m. at Cintas Center. The game will be broadcast on FOX national, including FOX 19 in Cincinnati, and 700 WLW.

Xavier will be wearing throwback uniforms with the popular Running Man logo used by XU basketball from 1983-95.

• Xavier leads the BIG EAST in assists (10th in the nation at 19.0 apg.). XU is second in the BIG EAST (13th in the nation) in assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.56 and second in field goal percentage defense (47th in the nation at .392).
• Xavier senior captain Jason Carter, who leads the team and is fourth in the BIG EAST in rebounding at 8.2 rpg., grabbed a Xavier career-high 16 rebounds to go with 11 points in the win over St. John's on Jan. 6.
• Xavier senior Paul Scruggs leads the BIG EAST and is 17th in the nation in assists at 6.5 apg. He is second on the team (12th in BIG EAST) in scoring (14.4 ppg.) and is fourth in the BIG EAST (48th in the nation) in assist-to-turnover ratio at 2.63.
• Xavier sophomore Zach Freemantle leads the team in scoring at 15.6 ppg. (ninth in the BIG EAST) and field goal percentage (10th in the BIG EAST at .538). He is second on the team and fifth in the BIG EAST in rebounding at 7.9 rpg.
• Xavier freshman Dwon Odom is second on the team and sixth in the BIG EAST in assists at 4.3 apg. and first on the team, fourth in the BIG EAST and 32nd in the
nation in assist-to-turnover ratio at 3.00.
• Xavier freshman Colby Jones, who has started the last four games, scored a career-high and team-high 16 points in the St. John's win.
• Xavier senior Nate Johnson, who is first in the BIG EAST and 19th in the nation in 3-point percentage (.491), is sixth in the BIG EAST in 3-point field goals at 2.5 per game. Johnson hit 7 3-pointers vs. Oklahoma on Dec. 9.
