Musketeers Drop 2-0 Road Match at Creighton

OMAHA, Neb. - Xavier men's soccer dropped a 2-0 BIG EAST match at Creighton on Wednesday night at Morrison Stadium.
The Musketeers moved to 8-6 (2-5 BIG EAST) on the year, while the Bluejays improved to 5-6-2 (2-4-1 BIG EAST).

• Taylor Rhinehart and Jerome Jolly paced the Musketeer attack with three shots each (both had two shots on goal). Karsen Henderlong added two shots (one on goal).
• Creighton held a 16-12 advantage in shots, while both teams collected six shots on goal. The Bluejays committed 10 more fouls (18-8) than the Musketeers and had one more corner kick (5-4).
• Xavier's 12 shots are tied for the second-most shots in a match this season for the Musketeers. The six shots on goal also rank tied for the second-most shots on goal for Xavier in a match this season.
• Matthew Rosenberg made four saves in goal, increasing his season total to 28 saves. The senior goalkeeper now has a 0.93 goals against average on the season. Creighton's Paul Kruse earned the win in goal, making six saves and posting his third shutout of the season.
• Six Musketeers played all 90 minutes: Matthew Rosenberg, Taylor Crull, Cameron Belle, Pol Hernandez, Karsen Henderlong and Payton Miller.
• Xavier dropped its third straight match in the series with Creighton, moving to 3-8-1 all-time vs the Bluejays.
