Emma Grace notches 20-kill, 23-dig performance

CINCINNATI, OH - Many memorable performances highlighted a night that went to the visitors, as UConn snuck out of Cincinnati with a five-set win. The final was 25-18, 16-25, 21-25, 25-21, 11-15 in favor of the Huskies.

Xavier moves to 10-13 this season, and UConn is now 16-7.

NOTABLES

• Emma Grace had one of the best performances of any Musketeer this season, recording a career-high 20 kills and 23 digs. She also had an ace and a solo block to bring her point total to 22- the highest for a Xavier player this fall.

• Delaney Hogan had another great night on offense, recording 17 kills and a .366 hit percentage. Her 17.5 points was just 1.0 shy of her season-high.

• Ellie Chaffee had 11 kills tonight to cap the Musketeers' double-digit efforts. Her .500 hit percentage and three blocks were also a team-best.

• Norah Painter had eight kills in a solid night, also recording an ace and a block on the evening.

• Carrigan O'Reilly had 49 assists, putting her just 7 shy of the 2,000 career assist mark. She also had six kills and six digs.

• Three Musketeers stood out on the defensive end. Behind Grace's team-high 23 digs, was Alyssa Overbeck's 21 and Stevie Wolf's 15.
