Men's Basketball Hosts No. 19 Ohio State On Thursday Night As Part Of The Gavitt Tipoff Games

CINCINNATI --- The Xavier University Musketeers, 2-0, host the No. 19 Ohio State University Buckeyes, 3-0, on Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. at a sold-out Cintas Center. This is the first meeting between the two programs since the second round of the 2007 NCAA Tournament.
Xavier has compiled an 11-4 record over its last 15 games vs. the Big Ten Conference. These last 15 games were against nine different Big Ten teams.

• Xavier junior Jack Nunge, who made Jon Rothstein's list of top under the radar transfers, contributed 11 points on 4-6 shooting to go with six rebounds vs. Kent State. Nunge transferred to Xavier from Iowa.
• Xavier junior Zach Freemantle, who led XU in scoring at 16.1 ppg. and rebounding at 8.9 rpg. last season, is sidelined by injury.
