Xavier looks to win its third straight game on Saturday vs the Colonels
CINCINNATI - Xavier women's basketball continues its four-game road swing at Eastern Kentucky on Saturday, Nov. 27. Tip-off is slated for 2 p.m. ET from Alumni Coliseum.
A win on Saturday would give Xavier its third straight win. The last time the Musketeers won three games in a row was on Nov. 25, 2020 - Dec. 14, 2020 (won three straight games to start the 2020-21 season).

• Eastern Kentucky was picked to finish 10th in the Preseason ASUN Coaches' Poll. The Colonels posted a 9-15 (8-12 OVC) record last season. EKU officially became a member of the ASUN over the summer after previously competing in the OVC.
• Greg Todd is in his first season as head coach. He previously served as head coach at Morehead State from 2014-21. Todd has a 264-172 career record in 16 seasons as a head coach.
• EKU is 2-2 on the year with both wins coming against non-NCAA I teams. Jayla Johnson leads the team in scoring (14.3), while Ariel Kirkwood has added 11.3 points per game and a team-high 9.5 rebounds per game.

• Kae Satterfield posted her third career double-double, scoring 15 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. She added three assists and one steal. The guard now has 11 career games with 10 or more points and three games with 10 or more rebounds.
• Freshman Aanaya Harris added a season-high 15 points on 7-for-14 shooting. She chipped in three rebounds and two assists. The Omaha, Neb., native now has a team-high .489 field-goal percentage (23-for-47) on the year.
• Xavier won the battle on the glass for the second time in as many games, pulling down 10 more rebounds (44-34) than the Raiders. Mackayla Scarlett matched her career high in rebounds for the second straight game with seven rebounds.
• Xavier forced 18 turnover, converting the miscues into 20 points. The Musketeers also scored 12 more fastbreak points (14-2) than the Raiders.
• Nia Clark was named the BIG EAST Player of the Week on Monday, Nov. 22. She helped the Musketeers post a 1-1 record last week.

• Xavier returns two of its top three scorers from last season in Nia Clark and Kae Satterfield. The Musketeers finished the season with a 5-10 (2-8 BIG EAST) record.
