Women's Soccer Falls to Saint Louis in Season Opener

WESTFIELD, Ind. -Â Â Xavier women's soccer opened the season on Friday afternoon, falling 2-0Â to Saint Louis at Grand Park just outside of Indianapolis.
Both teams finished the day with seven shots total and four on-frame, but Bilikens found the back of the net twice before the break to take a 2-0 lead into halftime. Xavier battled to create opportunities in the second half, taking three corners to one for SLU, but were unable to break through for the score
Xavier returns to action next week, traveling to Bowling Green, Ky. to face Western Kentucky on Wednesday, February 17. First touch is set for 5:00 p.m. ET.
