TOLEDO, Ohio - Xavier men's tennis fell, 4-3, against the Toledo Rockets on Sunday afternoon. The Musketeers took the doubles point and picked up two singles wins, but fell to 1-3 on the season.

Xavier is back in action next weekend, hosting Eastern Illinois at Camargo Racquet Club on Saturday, and returning to action on Sunday, hosting Ball State at Eastern Hills.

THE MATCH

Xavier took the doubles points with wins in the No. 2 spot for Brett Winters and Cambell Nakayama, 6-4, and No. 3 spot for Srdan Pejic and Shashank Reddy, 7-5.

The Musketeers also picked up singles wins in the No. 1 spot for Arnaud Restifo (4-6, 6-4, 6-0) and the No. 4 spot for Matthew Graft, 5-7, 6-4, 7-6 (4)

Toledo took the remainder of the singles courts, topping Brett Winters on the No. 2 court, 6-4, 7-5 and Srdan Pejic on the No. 3 court, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4. Toledo also picked up wins on No. 5 over Cambell Nakayama, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, and No. 6 singles over Shashank Reddy 6-2, 6-3.
