Musketeers can clinch a BIG EAST Tournament first-round bye with a win.
CINCINNATI --- The Xavier University Musketeers, 13-6 overall and 6-6 in the BIG EAST Conference, close out the regular season on Saturday in Milwaukee vs. the Marquette University Golden Eagles. Xavier can clinch a first-round bye in the upcoming BIG EAST Tournament with a win at Marquette.
Marquette will have fans at Fiserv Forum for the first time this season.

• Xavier, 13-6 overall and 6-6 in the BIG EAST, split this past week: defeating No. 13/11 Creighton 77-69 on Feb. 27 and losing 72-66 at Georgetown on March 2.

• Xavier's Paul Scruggs earned a spot on the BIG EAST Honor Roll after averaging 22.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game in Xavier's two games last week (at Providence on Feb. 24 and vs. Creighton on Feb. 27).
• Xavier sophomore Zach Freemantle has posted six straight double-doubles (a team-high eight for the season), including 17 points and 10 rebounds in the win over Creighton and 12 points and 12 rebounds at Georgetown. The streak also includes career highs and game highs for scoring (30) and rebounding (15) vs. UConn on Feb. 13.
• Xavier's Zach Freemantle leads the team in scoring at 16.7 ppg. (fifth in the BIG EAST) and leads the entire BIG EAST Conference in rebounding (35th in the nation at 9.2 rpg.). He also leads XU in field goal percentage (ninth in the BIG EAST at .516).
• Xavier freshman Dwon Odom is first in the BIG EAST and 14th in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio at 2.94. Odom is first on the team and 12th in the BIG EAST in assists at 3.1 apg.
