Xavier moves on to the BIG EAST Tournament, getting underway on Thursday, April 22 in Cayce, S.C.

 THE MATCH |
Marquette took two-set wins on the No. 1 court, 6-3, 6-2, against Brett Winters, on the No. 3 court, 7-6, 6-4, against Jan Vrba, and 6-0, 6-4 against Matthew Graft on the No. 5 court.
Xavier picked up a pair of two-set wins in singles, with Srdan Pejic taking the No. 2 court, 7-6, 7-6, and Cambell Nakayama taking the No. 4 court, 7-6, 6-0.
The final decision came on the No. 6 court, after Jake Zipoli battled back in the second set to force a third set, eventually alling 6-4, 3-6, 6-0, to set the final score at 5-2 in favor of Marquette.
