The Bulldogs found the back of the net with 15 seconds left in overtime

CINCINNATI - Xavier men's soccer dropped a 1-0 overtime match vs Butler on Saturday afternoon at the XU Soccer Complex. Xavier moved to 3-7-1 (0-5-1 BIG EAST), while the Bulldogs improved to 3-6-2 (3-2-2 BIG EAST).

Butler's Wilmer Cabrera Jr., scored his team-leading fourth goal of the season with 15 seconds left in regulation to give th Bulldogs the win.

NOTABLE

• Karsen Henderlong led the Musketeers with three shots (one on goal). Bryce Curran and Justus Kauppinen added two shots, while Jacob Bernsen and Lotem Ben Dov each added one.

• Matthew Rosenberg (3-7-1) made three saves in goal for the Musketeers. The goalkeeper now has 21 saves on the year.

• Both teams took seven shots in the match, while the Musketeers recorded two more corner kicks (3-1). Xavier also committed seven more fouls (20-13) than the Bulldogs.
