Xavier to Host Blue Blob's Birthday Party

Come celebrate at the women's basketball game on Sunday, Jan. 23
CINCINNATI - Xavier Athletics will host their annual "Blue Blob's Birthday Party" at the Xavier women's basketball game on Sunday, Jan. 23. The Musketeers are set to take on the DePaul Blue Demons at 2:00 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.
Fans are invited to celebrate the beloved mascot's birthday at the expanded Kroger Kids Zone in the Cintas Center Banquet Room pre-game and at halftime. Celebrate from 1-2 p.m. with Rapid Fired pizza, inflatables, prizes and much more! Fans can come back to enjoy the festivities again at halftime with cookies and a special "Happy Birthday!" to the Blue Blob.Â
Xavier Athletics and Xavier women's basketball have also partnered with the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Greater Cincinnati (OCAGC) for the seventh consecutive year to spread awareness and participate in the initiative to fight ovarian cancer. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for ages 3-17 and FREE to those 2 and under. Tickets can be purchased online here or at the ticket window on gameday. Discounted group tickets are available for groups of 15 or more starting at just $3 each and must be purchased in advance by calling 513-745-3389.
