Delaney Hogan achieves a career high of 20 kills in the match

CINCINNATI - Xavier volleyball defeated DePaul in a four-set (25-19, 22-25, 25-18, 25-23) match on Friday night. The Musketeers move to 11-6 (4-3 BIG EAST) while the Blue Demons fall to 6-13 (2-5 BIG EAST).

NOTABLES

• Delaney Hogan led the squad in kills with a total of 20 - a career record for the junior. The middle blocker also recorded the team high in block assists with three and managed a .405 hitting percentage.

• Carrigan O'Reilly added an additional 47 assists to bring her career total to 2,773. The senior setter achieved her 26th career double-double with the 47 assists and 14 digs.

• Junior middle blocker Hunter Fry and senior outside hitter Maryann O'Toole each recorded two block assists. The outside hitter recorded eight kills and the middle blocker posted seven kills.

• Sophomore Lucia Corsaro posted the team high of 27 digs. The libero also managed a kill in the match.

• Five total members of the squad achieved double-digit digs with Corsaro leading with 27, senior defensive specialist Alyssa Overbeck managed 16 with Hogan and junior defensive specialist Stevie Wolf each posting 15. O'Reilly followed up the pack with 14.

• Sophomore outside hitter Anna Taylor was one of two members of the squad to reach double-digit kills with 13 in the match.

• In set two, Overbeck got off on a hot streak and managed a 10 point scoring run. Corsaro followed up in the third set with a nine point scoring run.
