• Saint Francis was picked to finish fourth in the Preseason Northeast Conference Coaches' Poll after posting an 8-22 (8-10 NEC) record last season. Head coach Keila Whittington returns two starters from last season and welcomes six newcomers to the program.
• Aaliyah Moore leads the team in scoring (7.5) this year, while ranking second in rebounding (5.5).
• Adison Novosel has added 6.5 points per game, while Jade Campbell has added a team-high 6.0 rebounds per game.

• Two other Musketeers are averaging 10 or more points per game in newcomers Kaleigh Addie and Taylor Smith. Addie is averaging 13 points per game with a .533 field-goal percentage, while Smith has added 10 points per game.
• Xavier leads the BIG EAST in three-point field goal percentage (.526) and ranks tied for fourth in total three pointers made (10). The Musketeers only hit 26 percent of their three pointers last season.
• Xavier also ranks second in the BIG EAST in blocks with 12. Kaysia Woods leads the team with four blocks.
• Aanaya Harris returns for her sophomore season after posting 9.2 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. She added 52 assists, 23 steals and eight blocks.
• Aanaya Harris added a .463 field-goal percentage, ranking second among BIG EAST freshmen and 14th overall. Her 9.2 points per game also ranked third among conference freshmen.
• Senior Shaila Beeler led the team in assists (117) and steals (34) last season, while adding 8.2 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. The guard ranked fourth in the BIG EAST in free-throw percentage (.805) and fifth in assists (4.0).
• Xavier also welcomes five newcomers: Taylor Smith (missed 2021-22 season with an injury), Nila Blackford (transfer from Kent State), Fernanda Ovalle, Bella Ward and June Ruiz Azkue.
• The Musketeers are 27-14 in season openers dating back to their first season as a Division I member in 1982-83. Xavier is 20-4 in season openers over the last 24 seasons.
