Xavier moves to 9-2-7 on the year
CINCINNATI - No. 3 seed Xavier men's soccer fell in the BIG EAST Tournament Quarterfinals to No. 6 seed Creighton, 2-1, on Saturday night at Corcoran Field.
The Musketeers dropped to 9-2-7 on the year, while the Bluejays improved to 7-4-6.

• Fabrizio Bernal de la Garza scored his team leading fourth goal of the season in the 64th minute. He now has a team-leading nine points (four goals, one assist).
• Ernest Mensah Jr. was credited with an assist on the goal from Fabrizio Bernal de la Garza. The freshman now has two assists on the year.
• Xavier took seven more shots (13-6) than Creighton, including four more shots on goal (7-3). The Musketeers committed one more foul (11-10) than the Bluejays and took one more corner kick (2-1).
• Fabrizio Bernal de la Garza took a match-high five shots (three on goal). Cameron Phillips added two shots (one on goal).
• Cole Jensen (9-2-7) took the loss in goal for the Musketeers. He made one save in the match.
• Xavier moved to 3-6-2 all-time in BIG EAST Tournament matches and 2-3-1 in the quarterfinals. The Musketeers moved to 0-2 when playing the Bluejays in the BIG EAST Tournament.
