CINCINNATI --- The Xavier University Musketeers, 17-11 overall and 7-10 in the BIG EAST Conference, visit the St. John's University Red Storm, 15-13 overall and 7-10 in the BIG EAST, on Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. This will be XU's final regular season road game.

Xavier is shooting to snap a four-game losing streak that started with the first St. John's game on Feb. 16. Senior guard Nate Johnson, one of the BIG EAST's top 3-point shooters, has not played since the win over UConn on Feb. 11 but returned to practice this week.

• Xavier, 17-11 overall and 7-10 in the BIG EAST Conference, is coming off a loss to Seton Hall on Saturday.
• Xavier is 36th in the NCAA NET and 48th in KenPom. St. John's is 75th in the NCAA NET and 70th in KenPom.
• Xavier has four players averaging in double figures in scoring from 10.1 ppg. to 13.0 ppg. and a fifth player at 9.8 ppg. XU has had eight different players lead the team in scoring this season.
• Xavier junior Jack Nunge leads the team in scoring at 13.0 ppg. and in blocks at 1.4 bpg. He is second in rebounding at 7.3 rpg. He had 22 points and seven rebounds in the first meeting with St. John's.
• Xavier's Jack Nunge has been named to the 2021-22 Academic All-District® First Team. Nunge currently holds a 3.94 G.P.A. in the M.B.A. program.
• Xavier senior Paul Scruggs, who is ninth in the BIG EAST in assists at 4.1 apg., is second on the team in scoring at 12.2 ppg. He contributed 16 points and five assists in the first meeting with St. John's.
• Xavier's Paul Scruggs is 16th on Xavier's all-time scoring list with 1,587 points and just nine points shy of the top 15. He is seventh on XU's all-time assist list with 490 and is just six assists shy of the top five. He is 10th on the all-time steals list (170).
• Xavier sophomore Colby Jones, who led Xavier with 20 points, 10 rebounds and four assists vs. Seton Hall on Saturday, is sixth in the BIG EAST in overall rebounding (7.7 rpg.) and seventh in offensive rebounding (2.7 rpg.). He is third on the team in
scoring (10.7 ppg.) and second in assists (2.9 apg.).
