CINCINNATI - Rachel Butler is set to compete at the Penn Relays on Thursday, April 28 at Franklin Field.

Butler will race in the College Women's 10,000-meter run (event 209) at 9:20 p.m.

• Rachel Butler broke the school record in the 5,000-meter at the Virginia Challenge on Friday, April 22. The meet was hosted by Virginia at Lannigan Field.

• Butler placed third in the event, posting a time of 16:19.82. The previous record was set by Ashley Vincent in 2012 at the Stanford Invitational (16:34.74).

• Her time ranks seventh in the BIG EAST this season and 119th in the NCAA.
