Five Musketeers named ITA Scholar Athletes
CINCINNATI - Xavier women's tennis capped off a banner 2021-22 season with accolades for its work in the classroom, earning All-Academic Team honors for 2022 from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). ITA All-Academic Teams must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above on a 4.0 scale, factoring in all letter winners.
Additionally, five Musketeers earned ITA Scholar Athlete honors, awarded to student-athletes that have a 3.5 grade point average or above. From Xavier, Anne-Sophie Courteau, Imani Graham, Anna Roggenburk, Anna Smith and Emily Thomas were honored.
In 2022, 1,517 Division I Women's student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete and 250 women's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
The 2021-22 Musketeers wrapped up the season at 14-10 overall, brought home the program's third BIG EAST Championship and earned Xavier's third bid to the NCAA Championships.
