Xavier returns from a two-set deficit to defeat Miami (Ohio) on the road

OXFORD, Ohio - Xavier was trailing 2-0 heading into the third set but pulled a reverse sweep on Miami and took the final three sets to win the match 3-2 (23-25, 14-25, 25-19, 25-18, 16-14). The Musketeers improve to 6-3, while the RedHawks drop to 5-5.

NOTABLES

• Carrigan O'Reilly recorded her 22nd career double-double when she posted 37 assists and 13 digs. The senior setter also pushed her career assist total to 2,440 with the feat. She also posted eight kills.

• Graduate middle blocker Angel Robinson tallied up four block assists for the squad while O'Reilly and sophomore outside hitter Anna Taylor each contributed three.

• Graduate outside hitter Brooklyn Cink recorded a team-high 15 kills through five sets and added a block assist. Robinson and senior outside hitter Maryann O'Toole both added nine kills to the squad's total of 57.

• Four members of the team reached double digits for digs with sophomore libero Lucia Corsaro posting 31. O'Reilly (13), junior defensive specialist Stevie Wolf (12), and senior defensive specialist Alyssa Overbeck (15) were the additional members of the squad to reach double digits.

• O'Toole recorded two of the three block solos for the squad with junior middle blocker Delaney Hogan claiming the third.
