CINCINNATI - Xavier cross country continues its season at the Greater Louisville Classic on Saturday, Oct. 1. The meet is being held at E. P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park.
The men's 8K Blue Race is set for 10:45 a.m., followed by the women's 5K Blue Race at 11:30 a.m.

45 Teams in the Men's Blue Race; 46 Teams in the Women's Blue Race
• Xavier competed at the Friar Invitational on Sept. 9. The men placed third, while the women took fourth.The meet was hosted by Providence at the Mark Coogan Course at Highland Park in Attleboro, Mass.
• The women had three top-20 finishers in the 5K race: Jamie Klavon (12th - 18:30.60), Parker Hopkins (18th - 18:56.21) and Emily Sienna (20th - 18:58.32).
• The men also had three top-20 finishers in the 8K race: Adrian Stuphan (16th - 25:36.90), Trevor Nolan (17th - 25:42.68) and Jackson Triplett (20th - 26:09.73).
• In women's cross country, Xavier returns three of its top-five finishers from a team that placed seventh at the 2021 BIG EAST Championships (Fall Season): Parker Hopkins (44th - 23:08.80), Emily Sienna (49th - 23:27.30) and Sarah Been (53rd - 23:44.10).
• In men's cross country, Xavier returns two of its top-five finishers from a team that placed seventh at the 2021 BIG EAST Championships (Fall Season): Adrian Stuphan (38th - 26:37.00) and Trevor Nolan (50th - 27:11.10).
