CINCINNATI - Xavier women's tennis travels to Knoxville, Tenn., this weekend to take part in the ITA Ohio Valley Fall Regional, hosted by the University of Tennessee at the Barksdale Tennis Stadium. Play opens on Thursday, October 19 and runs through Monday, Oct. 23.

All eight Musketeers will open action in the singles bracket early on Thursday, and six Musketeers will continue play on Thursday evening in the doubles draw.

FALL RESULTS

Xavier collected 13 wins during the UC/Pam Whitehead Invitational, taking on Ball State, Miami (Ohio) and hosts Cincinnati in a blind dual format on Oct. 6-7.
Imani Graham went 2-0 in singles play, picking up wins against Ball State and Miami. She also paired with Anna Roggenburk for a doubles win against Ball State and Abby Nugent for a doubles win against Miami.
Roggenburk also picked up a win in singles play against Ball State.
Abigail Siminski picked up a pair of singles wins, against BSU and Miami, and partnered with Blessing Nwaozuzu for a 6-0 doubles win over Ball State. Nwaozuzu picked up the come-back singles win against Ball State in singles play, and picked up a third win for the weekend, playing doubles with Ellie Brotherton, taking the 6-2 win over Miami.
Brotherton also finished with three wins, picking up a pair of singles victories, against Ball State and Cincinnati. Sofia Mazzucato also picked up a singles win against Ball State.

UPCOMING SCHEDULE

Select Musketeers will travel to the ITA Fall Nationals, beginning on November 2 and running through Nov. 6 at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, California.
Xavier will be back in action in January when the Musketeers start dual play.

THE MUSKETEERS

Xavier returns six from last year's squad that brought home the program's third-straight, and fourth overall, BIG EAST Championship and earned Xavier's fourth bid to the NCAA Championships.
The 2022-23 Musketeers finished the season 14-8 overall with a 6-0 record against BIG EAST opponents.
Among Xavier's returnees are 2023 BIG EAST Player of the Year, Imani Graham, and BIG EAST Freshman of the Year, Abby Nugent.
Anna Roggenburk, Blessing Nwaozuzu, Emily Flowers and Abigail Siminski also return for the Musketeers.
Xavier added a pair of newcomers, Ellie Brotherton and Sofia Mazzucato.
