The Musketeers fall in straight sets to the Golden Eagles
CINCINNATI - Xavier volleyball fell in three sets (23-25, 22-25, 16-25) to Marquette on Saturday evening.
The Musketeers move to 13-8 (6-4 BIG EAST) on the season and the Golden Eagles advance to 13-8 (9-1 BIG EAST).

• Brooklyn Cink, the graduate outside hitter, led the Musketeers' offense with nine kills and was trailed by senior middle blocker Delaney Hogan with eight. Hogan claimed the team-high hitting percentage of .368 on 19 total attempts, eight kills, and one error.
• Cink led the Musketeers' defense at the net, laying down two block solos and three block assists. Redshirt junior middle blocker Sarah Stevens followed Cink with one block solo and two block assists, and Hogan laid out two additional block assists to bring the team's total to eight.
• Senior libero Stevie Wolf led the defensive efforts in the back court with her 14 digs, averaging 4.67 digs per set, and her 38 receptions.
• Carrigan O'Reilly, the graduate setter, averaged 10.33 assists per set against Marquette, totaling 31 assists, four kills, and four digs.
• Cink and freshman defensive specialist Elouise Czajkowski were the only members of the squad to tally a service ace against the Golden Eagles.
• The Musketeers totaled 40 kills, 39 assists, 46 digs, eight block assists, and three block solos in the four-set match.
