Volleyball Closes Regular Season with Loss at No. 15 Creighton

The Musketeers split the 2023 series with the Bluejays 1-1
OMAHA, Neb. - Xavier volleyball fell to No. 15 Creighton 0-3 ( 8-25, 18-25, 20-25) on Friday evening.
The Musketeers conclude regular season action at 18-11 (11-7 BIG EAST) and the Bluejays advance to 24-4 (15-2 BIG EAST).

• Emma Grace, the redshirt sophomore outside hitter, recorded the team-high in kills with 11, also contributing nine digs in the match. Â
• Delaney Hogan, the senior middle blocker, led the defense at the net for the Musketeers, recording the team-high of three block assists.
• Carrigan O'Reilly, the graduate setter, tallied 18 assists, the team-high against the Bluejays, while also notching two block assists.
• Junior setter Logan Flaugh and senior libero Stevie Wolf were the only Musketeers to reach double-digit digs and dish a service ace. Flaugh posted 11 digs, the team-high, and one service ace and was followed by Wolf with 10 digs and one service ace.
• Wolf and junior defensive specialist Lucia Corsaro both managed double-digit perfect receptions - Wolf boasted 17 and Corsaro registered 14.
• The Musketeers totaled 26 kills, 24 assists, 39 digs, eight block assists, and two service aces in the three-set match.

• Volleyball will head to Milwaukee, Wisc. for the first round of the 2023 BIG EAST Tournament as the #4 seed.
