Musketeers are looking to snap a two-game losing streak.

LAS VEGAS --- The Xavier University Musketeers, 2-2, and the Saint Mary's College Gaels, 2-2, are looking to bounce back from Friday losses here at the Continental Tire Main Event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Xavier fell to Washington and Saint Mary's lost to San Diego State. XU and SMC face off at 7:30 p.m. ET (4:30 p.m. PT in Las Vegas) on Sunday.

Freshman Lazar Djokovic, who sat out the first three games with a hand injury, saw his first game action as a Musketeer vs. Washington.

• Xavier and Saint Mary's are both 2-2 and looking to snap two-game losing streaks.
• Xavier fell 74-71 to Washington on Friday despite 20 points from senior Gytis Nemeikša and 19 from sophomore Desmond Claude. XU led 37-30 at halftime but a foul-plagued second half combined with a season-high 18 turnovers led to the loss.
• Xavier is making its second trip to Las Vegas. XU defeated George Washington and lost to Arizona State in the 2017 Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational at Orleans Arena.
• Xavier sophomore Desmond Claude leads the team at 17.8 ppg. after four games. Claude, the only returnee from last season that has played in a game this season, averaged 4.7 ppg. as a freshman.
• Xavier head coach Sean Miller holds a 149-59 (.716) mark in his seventh season leading Xavier. His 149 wins at XU put him in third place on Xavier's all-time wins list.
• Xavier has 10 newcomers on the 2023-24 roster, including six freshmen and four transfers. All 10 newcomers have played this season. Freshman Lazar Djokovic, who sat out the first three games with a hand injury, saw his first game action vs. Washington. Sophomore Desmond Claude is the only returnee that has played in a game this season.
